Same. Particularly would love to learn your take on the competitive landscape. It seems the drinks space is increasingly getting crowded with a flood of recent investments and IPOs. How does this affect some now established players like Luckin. Some of these companies might not directly compete with each other, but are they eating into wallet share? Is there increasing appetite (and market expansion) to offset the supply increase?

I’m on it. Traveling around China during the May holidays — and to my wife’s regret, I’m checking out every coffee and tea shop I can find. This space is huge, but I’m starting to get a grip on how to think about it. Stay tuned.

Thank you for the moving reflection. The story of the high school student and your call to protect global scientific talent was powerful and timely.

As you return to your usual topics, I’d love to hear your take on M Stand, Manner Coffee, Luckin, and Starbucks in China—how they compare in model, momentum, and market positioning. Your lens would be much appreciated.

I would like to hear about your proposed coffee and tea research.
